When your story is published by a publication, it can still be curated by Medium. Usually the curation process is separate from the publication’s submission process.

But that’s not always the case. In fact, some major publications have an agreement with Medium itself, which means that every story they publish, is also automatically curated in a specific tag, which gives your article even more exposure.

For instance, all of my stories that have been published by The Writing Cooperative, have also been automatically curated in the Writing tag.

The Sixth Sense does not have such an agreement yet, because we are just starting off, but this does not keep your story from getting curated by Medium. If their editors decide that it is worth sharing, they will distribute it to a wider audience.
